ICP2028 is hosted by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) in partnership with the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS), the global body that convenes the International Congress of Psychology series.

The Congress leadership team provides strategic direction for ICP2028, working with APS, IUPsyS and the Congress Secretariat to support planning, sponsorship, delegate experience and delivery.
The Scientific Program Committee guides the development of the ICP2028 program, including themes, speakers, abstract review and session formats. Its role is to ensure the Congress reflects scientific excellence, global relevance, disciplinary breadth and practical impact for delegates.
The Local Organising Committee supports the delivery of ICP2028 in Naarm (Melbourne), helping shape the local delegate experience and connect the Congress with Australian psychology, host-city opportunities and local networks.
The International Advisory Committee will provide global perspectives and help strengthen international engagement, regional participation and the relevance of ICP2028 for psychologists across the world.
